I’m Susan Christopher, and I’m the driving force behind White Velvet Weddings. I earned my Diploma in Practical Event Management back in 2012, and my love for events has only grown since. From my early days at Mystery Creek to my time at The Narrows Landing here in the Waikato, I’ve worked across a variety of event roles—with weddings always holding a special place in my heart. I’ve also completed professional training with The Wedding Hub, ensuring I bring industry-leading knowledge and confidence to every celebration I help create.

Balancing my career with being a wife and mum to two incredible kids, I thrive on producing and coordinating events. I’m big on detail, calm under pressure, and always make sure we have plenty of laughs along the way. Your day should feel like you, and my job is to help make that happen—keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes so you can soak up every moment.​
